You may know Jim Davis-Hicks of Thirst Relief, the non-profit organization that provides clean water for those living in third world countries. Currently Jim and his family are driving around the country speaking with people to increase awareness and support for Thirst Relief. If you aren't familiar with Thirst Relief click on this great link: http://thirstrelief.org/site/about_us
In a time where incomes for many CEO’s of large NGO’s are six or seven figures, Jim and his family are doing things on a shoe string budget, and are well accomplished at being thrifty. All the money raised at Thirst Relief goes to provide fresh water to those in need in third world countries and doesn't go for overhead.
So that is why I’m asking for your help today with something I'm calling 5 for 5 with 5.
Jim recently received a matching gift offer of 25K if he raises the same amount. He currently has raised 6K with 19K to go. Sounds like a lot of money to raise in just a short time but I think we can do it, and here’s how:
1 - I am looking for just five of my friends who would partner with me to give 5 dollars for each of the next 5 weeks. That gift of $25 dollars will go a long way to provide support for Thirst Relief.
2 - The next step I want you to really consider is if each one of you who chooses to come along side of Jim and his family, would encourage 5 more people to help. In this way we only need 152 people like that. That's right, we only need 152 people to motivate 5 people to give $5 for the next 5 weeks. Amazing isn't it!
Each of us normally have hundreds or even thousands of people that follow us on Facebook and many would like to be involved but they just need to be asked.
So please partner with me by giving $5 for each of the next 5 weeks to Thirst Relief and then ask 5 others to come along side you.
On behalf of Jim, his family and all those in need - Thank You and God Bless You!
